Tinsley James is the brain child of Kieran Tinsley, an experienced jeweller and appreciator of carpentry and design.
Without even knowing it, Kieran’s future in jewellery was written in the stars, long before he was even born. Only in his first year of studying Jewellery Design and Manufacture at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, did he find out, that his Great Great Grandfather was a jeweller and watch maker.
In the past ten years, Kieran has set over 100 000 diamonds and gemstones. He’s mastered the art of hand engraving and is a specialist setter, known throughout South Africa.
